Photographers and Aspiring Photographers!!

We are top-notch stylists in Long Lake searching for one to three photographers to assist in a photo shoot at our Salon. The theme is going to be up-dos and formal styles. We will be using these photos for promotional work and our website. Our Salon is going to host our first shoot Wednesday November 4 from 6-11pm. We will provide the location and prepped models. Compensation for your work is the use of our creations for your portfolio. You will also receive discounted hair services. We may also ask you to shoot salon photos of staff and the salon environment. You must provide your own photography equipment and some backdrops if possible. We ask in return to our models, that you offer a DVD of their photos. Many of the models will be using these pictures in their portfolio's which will help cross promote your business as well.

All interested candidates please email Jacquelyn or Mindy @ expressyourlook@hotmail.com. Please include a sample of your portfolio for our review.

LOL, you do know there will be people that will jump at the chance. I hope the stylists know they won't necessarily be getting the best results.

But I admire their chutzpah.

Yeah, but getting a discount on hair services?...Sweet deal!...<<(I couldn't find the 'sarcasm font').

Do you think there's a 'Hair Stylist Forum' where the advice was given to try this, knowing there would be a few 'photographers' that would agree to the deal? And you know there will be...

I am going to put an add in craigslist also. I will be looking for a hair stylist and makup artist to come do my wife and kids hair and stuff for a photo that will be prominently displayed around my house. The exposure will be awesome, this photo will be shipped state wide 'caugh' to my parents and brother and sister. you will get full credit for all hair and makup completed. of course this is a no pay gig since you will be getting such great exposure

please respond to ... sucker@myemail.com

Looks like a fairly standard TfCD deal. What's the problem? Happens all the time.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Nobody pays anybody anything, and in return, everybody gets portfolio use.
