how do you know it's not just a guest? my cousin has an album on FB with many photos that were taken during her wedding, but they all are actually GUEST photos not the "official" photographer. (however i won't go into how unprofessional the official one was... as much as I'm tempted! lol)
Eh.... I am still correcting the shots from my camera that my fiance took, he accidentally changed the white balance on over half of them (I was in the bridal party) I haven't posted the album, but posted examples of the ones i'm fixing on flickr in order to get advice on these forums about how to fix them, and someone commented with a compliment on how I looked. she may have thought all my pics were looking like that - well, they are, but not for much longer :PAnyway - unless they are saying these were "pro" shots - you never know who took them or the circumstances....

I know this is old, but I found it searching for something else. I noticed it was a very small attendance, and they could have asked a friend to take pics for them to save $$. Unfortunately, it's becoming a large practice, especially in the southern us, but I would honestly tend to think that it was just a means of having them but saving money since it was a small union. When my husband and I first got married, we done that, but at our renewal, I'm paying out my rear for a fellow-photog I know and trust. Our original wedding was similar in size to this one.
Just a thought.

They look very much like they were taken by a guest with a P&S. I doubt its anything more than that. What made me giggle was the photo of the "gorilla hands". Obvously it was the priest contratulating the happy couple but what a shot!!

Looked like a small low budget wedding. I didn't check to see if the EXIF info was there, but I'd bet it was shot by a friend with a point and shoot.
Not everyone can afford a photographer, and the couple are probably happy with the shots they got. |
