can't remember a photography related website

hey everyone,

i'm busting myself with google searches that are returning no results..

i'm looking for a site that i came across a while ago, and it was a bit like flickr in the sense that you could put up photos and favourite photos, except that it wasn't restricted to photography (you could put up visual art of any kind) and you could basically favourite images from any site and they were saved for you.

does anyone know what site i'm referring to?

it's neither of those, but jpgmag seems interesting.. can you add photos NOT on jpgmag.com to your favourites?

no not really... i'm so annoyed that i never bookmarked it.

from what i remember it was made for general artists, you could save anything visual you found on the internet in a gallery.. oh well.

Must say, that sounds kind of dodgy that you can save anything you find on the internet into your own gallery. After all, I'm betting they leave it up to users to look and see if something is copyrighted . Don't recall ever coming across that site though.

yeah that's exactly what i thought when i first saw it.. but it wasn't really saving, it was like flickr favourites but across the whole internet.. i guess that still poses some copyright questions :P

sounds like Polyvore.com only slightly different -- but in terms of dodginess, polyvore only lets you save items that can be purchased, it retains the link and everything. It's more of a visual bookmark than saving things into a gallery of works that are supposedly yours...

I'd be interested in knowing what the site is... I found a site along those lines that I lost the name of and I can feel your pain :P (not the same one, i'm pretty sure...)

edit to add - could this be it? http://www.weheartit.com you need to install a browser button in order to add things from other sites.... sounds similar.
