So I'm currently a senior in high school and I have this huge senior project. I chose to do it with photography in mind.
I love pictures and taking them. But I'm not sure how to go about my project. I chose to create a portfolio of 20+ photos, but I don't know where to start. The school has it's own requirments for this project as well, like I have to have a mentor and have to have at least 45 hours of work time. Along with having to later give a presentation on what I learned and how this will help in the future. I know I want to be a photographer, but I don't know the det.s on it. What kind of education do I need? Do I even need a college degree of some kind or can I just go with it? General advice and tips woul dbe highly appriciated. Thanks!!! : D ~Lexi |

COllege degree not really important but advisable for technique etc etc ...
What you need for this project is a subject whether portraiture or landscape then a s more detailed subject landscape or city scape architecture etc etc or whatever research a field and as for what you learn well........... Composition, Framing, Aperture settings Shutter speeds etc etc (depth of field ie Focus) and the Holy Grail perfect exposure are all within this.... there is well over 45 hours there alone in fact years I could say but condensed would make a nice interesting subject and presentation.. As for a mentor ask local Togs in the area you do the subject to help out tag along free etc and ask questions what lenses etc etc etc be helpful with them they will help you ....... Good Luck remember to share some shots form it
