Hello everyone,i am an amateur photographer and i'd like to know what do other photographers always do when taking photographs.Do you always follow the rules of photography or you often break da rules??and what makes you feel glad of your own photographs?

I "consider" the rules....I don't live by them.
What makes me happy, is when "I" like the results...

i think eddie is right
i break the rules. rules never go through my head when im taking shots. whatever looks good through my viewfinder is what works for me (most of the time) rules are there for a guide - but essentially you develop your own based on your personal style

+1. ive got shots with the horizon dead centre in the frame: typically a no no. But with the subject in front of it, it works.

I find the rule of thirds helpful but not really strict so I tend to do my own things if I like something I look at it a while to see how best to capture it if it is being added to my will return here soon book then I take a few quickies to remind me where I want to go to get better shots .....
