Oh my! Man what a disaster! Sheesh! I mean what the heck??? I have had no formal wedding photography training but my wedding photos I took this summer were waaaaaay better and I'm not even a "pro" .... yet!
I pmsl at the comments especially this one: "I am so sorry for this couple's experience. However, I laughed so much at the first shot shown here. Who is that bloke skulking in the background looking very cheesed off, behind the lovely bride with no arm!" Blimey, they are terrible!
Still might get rid of a few dodgey people claiming to be photogs if they can get sued?

Article indicated that 500 pounds (can't find the fancy L) was reimbursement...how does that compare to what other photogaphers charge? If I'm doing my math right and if my memory serves, that's VERY cheap compared to what the Mrs and I paid almost 15 years ago.

I saw this the Daily Mail today as well and was going to post it but my fellow Chelmsfordian beat me to it!!
This story just backs up what I have been reading on here recently - some people get a camera and think they are a photographer and see weddings as easy money. As people on here have stated, you need to be very accomplished and have the right equipment and knowledge to do something like wedding photography.

It's just been on the UK national news. They showed part of the video. The photog missed the bride arriving at the church, so he asked the driver (after he dropped off the bride) to drive round again and re-approach the church. He then got the driver to get out and open the door for the absent bride so that he could video the nowhere-to-be-seen happy lady getting out! It was a real hoot. Absolutely fell about when I saw it.
