Default I love my hubby because.....
He has bought me the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens AND 24-70mm f2.8 USM!! Brand New not off ebay or anything!! Yay!!

I've been feeling really depressed lately although I'm not sure if thats the right word. I joined this forum in Aug I think full of enthusiam, confidence and passion and its waned slightly of late I think its because I have been letting some members comments get taken too much to heart.

Now I have a smile back on my face because I'm worth it!!

Wow, I love your hubby too! I am so jealous! And don't take things to seriously. Most of the people here on DPS mean well and have the best of intentions only to help you be even better. You need to have a thick skin sometimes. I also try to keep in mind the photography, like any art is subjective. What one person likes someone else might hate. I am sure your new lenses will brighten your mood! I know I would be grinning from ear to ear for sure! Enjoy!

I am soooo jealous!!!! I really want the 70-200 L right now - but my hubby keeps saying NO! Maybe if I can get him to purchase something new for his motorcycle - he'll finally agree!!!
Have fun shooting and please post your pics!!! I for one would enjoy seeing them!

I too am happy for you! I myself am teetering btwn the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens and the 70-200 2.8 IS (I am self concious re the white lens).

Congrats on your new L glass. As a bonus they double as free weights so you can exercise with them .
