Question time to swap lense's

So here's the scenario..you're out on a walk about in your favourite setting..When you see something you've always wanted to photograph. You whip out your trusty camera and realise you've got the wrong lense on it..After slapping your forehead ,The question is,How long does it take you to swap your lenses?

Anything up to 30 secs, without being a careful as I should. But I do thend to go out with two cameras, one with 28 - 70 and one with 70 to 300 lenses on.

Depends on the lenses and my situation. It can take up to 30 seconds or as little as a second or two.

Since I just got my 5D Mark II I walk around with both my XTI and 5d using a Dual Camera Harness. I keep a long telephoto on my XTi and my 24-70 on my 5D. I don't think I've ever changed a lens since working with this configuration.

I know what you mean having a moment pass you by because you had the incorrect lens on can be frustrating to say the least. Usually it takes about 30 seconds for me to switch a lens out, less if I have someone with me that can hold one of the lens for me while I swap.

I do like changing lens however makes me feel like I'm locked and loaded when you heard that lens lock into place. It's music to my ears much like the sound from some shutter action.

Takes me less than 1/2 a second. That is because my walk around lens in my Nikon 18-200 AF-S VR, so all I have to do is rotate the barrel and I have the right lens. While not the best lens in the world, it is great for walking around when you don't have any specific plans as you almost always have the right lens for any shot.

I'm not so quick as I normally don't need to change lenses... if I need a different focal length, then I have two cameras.

But generally, 20-30 seconds. Yes, really quite slow.
