Hasselblad apparently developed a system that compensates for focus when you use the focus-then-recompose method. Perhaps this will find its way into consumer SLRs at some point.... maybe really, really far away... |

I don't know, the Canon 7D has all the hardware that's needed to pull it off... (accelerometers and such)
