Hi Everyone,
would it be possible to create a photography website on a free host that doesn't have those forced ads & still look professional? = (lucindaphotography.live.com) how can i create a professional website to my abilities on a free website host? Any advice or ideas? Thanks

Don't know if it's still alive and kicking, but freewebtown.com allowed for building your own site without ads of any kind unless you used their templates. You'd have to create your site from scratch, but the hosting would be free. They may have changed since I last used them, so be sure to look at all the details.

Try www.000webhost.com . It's free, no ads, some cool templates, and the subdomains are not as dorky as a lot of other hosts.

If you want a professional looking site and want to convey the impression of professionalism you will need to purchase a domain name. You can get a domain name with unlimited bandwidth and storage for about 3 - 5 bucks a month no problem.
I would never hire a photographer that wasn't serious enough to have their own domain name.
