Talking Pop Quiz! - Just For Fun

....OK, so I was talking to some geeks yesterday and one of them walked over and said - "OK, i've just given you $250... go buy whatever you like based around this computer, but you can only shop in Dixons"... obviously I looked at him with a worried "you should get out more" look on my face, but, then I thought about it... [dixons=large computer chain in UK]

WHAT IF someone walked up to you and said - OK, here's $250, you need to go spend it on camera gear - you have 2 hours and you can only use say, amazon.. what would YOU buy...

Post a link to what you'd buy... could be a fun little bit of research!..

ok - $250 usd, Amazon... GO!

I'd get:

Slik Sprint Mini Tripod with Ball Head ($60)

Lensbaby 2.0 Nikon Mount ($150)

Lensbaby Creative Aperture Kit ($10)

52mm Closeup Filters ($15)

Grand total: $235

I think it would be one of these...

Olympus EX-25 Digital Extension Tube 25mm

Around £100 on Amazon.co.uk so around $200. It would leave me a bit of change for a couple of filters

Cheers

Tim

Sadly, I'm a bit boring. Mostly, because $250 is only enough for 1/2 the macro lens I want. So, with that in mind, I'd finally get:

And

And probably a decent tripod. More research is required.

Oh and is this stuff that we would get for $250 and under or stuff that we would get that we dont already have? I mean the 50mm 1.8 is definately a lens I would get but I already have one so I would not want another. Same goes with a lot of filters and tripods and battery grip extra battery etc etc....

Amazon has free shipping (within the US - and I have American in-laws!) with any order above $39 don't they?
