Talking Finally took the plunge and bought studio lighting!

I'm so excited...I just ordered an Alien Bee setup. Can't do a whole lot of outdoor shoots in the midst of winter (especially babies!) so I decided to invest in lighting. I figure it'll take me a couple of months to figure it all out, which is why I ordered it now, LOL!!!

Now I'm going to have to rewrite some stuff on my website.....sigh.....

Congrats! A number of my friends use AlienBees and are happy with the products (but not so happy with the shipping cost to Hawaii). It'll really expand your photography skills.

Thanks, Samanax. Yeah, Alien Bee was recommended to me by a couple of people. I'm so curious to see how I do with it - I've been shooting with natural light only for so long now, it's going to take some getting used to! I'm always practicing on my own kids in between client shoots, and they're already sick of me taking their pictures outside...now I'm going to have to figure out how to bribe them to sit for me indoors!

Your going to love it! I must admit I'm a little jealous I am still working on getting a Bee myself.

I was just looking at them again yesterday. I'd really like to get them, but I'm also thinking about a new camera body. I seem to have an extreme case of "the wants" lately!

Looking forward to hearing what you think of your new ABs!

Hey that's really cool! I have wanted a lighting setup for some time now and I keep going back to a bee setup. Have fun and let us see some new shots.
