"Normal" focal length of D70

I'm VERY new to photography... currently taking my first photography class. One of my assignments is to find out the following information (my answers are bold):

1. Make & Model of my camera: Nikon D70
2. Size of Sensor: 23.7 x 15.5mm
3. Is it APS-C or APS-H or full frame? APS-C
4. Aspect Ratio: 3:2
5. What is my camera's "normal focal length"? ???

As you can see, I'm stumped on #5. I've looked in my manual and have tried to find this tid-bit of information online, with no luck. Anyone willing to educate a newbie like me would be greatly appreciated!

traditionally 50mm is considered "normal" as that approximates what the human eye sees. Anyways on an APS-C sensor it would be ~35mm.

You have me stumped too. Focal length typically refers to lenses not to a camera as far as I know. Maybe they are talking about the 1.5x factor since it is a crop body sensor?

50mm is normal length on a full frame camera so factor in your crop factor to figure out the normal length for a crop body such as the D70.

I would assume this is meant to take the crop factor into account. In your case it's about 35mm
