I am leaning towards this as my upgrade weapon. Not out yet, but nicely in my price range.
Anyone check out the reviews on it yet? I am going to wait till its out a bit and see some real feedback before buying, but wanted to know if anyone here had looked into it. Canon unveils EOS 7D high-end digital SLR: Digital Photography Review |

I've look up some of the specs the bad thing about this camera is the dla is only at f/.6.8 which is very low. which will probably translate to a very noisy pic and you lose picture quality at any aperture smaller than 6.8. the smaller the aperture the worse it gets. the 5d mk II is at 10.3. most the rest are some where 9 and 11. so 6.8 is pretty bad. the 50d was at 7.4 and got real noisy. thats the reason I got rid of it and got the 5d mkII . But for a sports camera it smokes the 5d and anything under it at 8fps and 19 focal points.
