Default OMG totally psyched

Yeah so i FINALLY rented....yes rented a Nikkor 70-200mm VR. im going away this weekend for my 1yr anniversary and thought it was my perfect chance to rent this piece of gold. im so excited to use it i can hardly contain myself.

any suggestions on how not to break my neck while using this thing???

A monopod is nice with a heavy lens.

I carry around the 70-200 and my d700 using a black rapid strap so that way the weight is not on my neck. Enjoy the lens. it is a great one.

I agree with the monopod. It can make a nice walking stick too. Happy anniversary and happy hunting.

Never had an issue with weight of it on my set up... even after a 8 hour rainy day. *shrug*

i was playing with it last night. mmmmmm i love it. how am i ever going to return it. oh well ill deal with it next week but for now shes mine LOL

If you really like the lens, but cant swing the price right now, look into the Nikon 80-200 f/2.8

It lacks the VR, but out of the lens I own it's my favorite.
