Default Hello, I'm Arik.
Hey folks,

Thought I'd introduce myself to everyone here since I hadn't yet. I'm new to dslr-based photography and actually received a brand new canon xsi yesterday.

I live in a smaller city/town known as Kearney, NE where photography studios are plenty, but there isn't much worth shooting here other than weddings, portraits and farm fields. It's probably because I haven't really looked hard enough (can anyone spell "newb").

Anyway, it's cool to see a site like this offering such a robust outlet for enthusiasts and soon-to-be pros alike. Thanks DPS and I can't wait to interact with all of you.
