slo mo video of shutters
Thought this was an interesting link. They filmed the shutter release in different film and digital cameras. The first one is from a 5D. You can go to other models by clicking on the little ">" at the top. There are 7 total.

Interesting link. I am surprised at the amount of "bounce" as the mirror goes up and returns. I guess that is why I have read that to get tack sharp pictures you need to lock the mirror up. It is perfectly clear now
