New Memeber fro SE MI

As with most people, I've been taking pictures my whole life. However, I have always preferred using an SLR. I have just recently become very interested in learning how to use it fully and properly. I've been looking at the beautiful images on the various forums over the past few weeks, wondering where to begin, when I stumbled upon this forum being mentioned on FM Forums.
