Default photobiz.com and other idiot proof gallery sites

Has anyone used photobiz site? Any feedback?

I'm looking for a professional looking and really easy to use (firstly, for me (cause if it's complicated, I'm not going to do it...sad but true), and secondly, for clients) website to showcase my work for future clients. Don't need proofing or online print sales, just a simple, easy to use gallery.

I just read through the Wordpress for beginners guide, and I know I am not interested in managing that myself. Templates look good, but the technical work behind it is going to kill my desire to do a website.

Photobiz seems really idiot proof and good looking at the same time. A bit pricey though. Are there any other sites out there that do the same thing as photobiz for less? My goal is not to have to download and install any additional software for running my website. Not fixated on Flash, fixated on simplicity of management. Not super concerned with SEO at this time (it will become a concern if I take this beyond hobby, but not yet).

Thank you for your advice!

If you are just looking for a showcase, try PBase.com.

Just remember, if you make it idiot-proof, someone will make a better idiot.

LOL. No doubt. I had an experience of building our wedding website about a year and a half ago using some fairly simple web-based CMS tool designed specifically for weddings. I could make a great web-design testing idiot.. I'm not generally stupid, it's just a complete lack of interest in the technical aspects of making web pages work. I'd rather spend those hours in CS4 - or out kayaking

Thanks Jim - that one looks a little too amateur for my taste, but it's definitely an option.

Haha, I just posted a thread the other day requesting feedback on Photobiz.com. Got one answer....they loved it.
