this weekend i was standing in a crowd of about 500, watching a band whilst rubbing my chin.
my mom turns to me and says... "you're planning your next photo shoot arent you"

she was 100% right

an hour later she says,
did you get a good idea for it yet?

I've been buying "fashion" magazines for this exact reason lately!

When your hart skips a beat because a new post from DPS has popped into your RSS reader, especially when it is such a great tutorial that you have to stop work to go try it out.

When you are in class and you start thinking about how to best use the light coming in from the window to do a portrait. This only works if the class isn't a photography class.

When you start thinking about the best way to photograph the amazing looking cookie/ice cream sandwich BEFORE you start eating it.

When you miss hearing what someone is saying because you're distracted by their fabulous catchlights and calculating how long it will take to get the camera and take the picture.

When you drive with your camera in the passenger seat just incase you see something that is photo worthy.

When a classmate looks at your photos and trys to convince you that you should be the one taking the pictures for your graduation, and you think about trying to do it for a few minutes.

I have a few friends that have gotten used to me when I have a camera in hand, and even when I dont. Stopping randomly in the middle of intersections, running down scary alleys, giving them instructions on how to stand and so on. Theyre used to it by now, I think.
Same story here.
My friends too have somewhat got used to it.
Whenever they see me without camera they enquire whether I'm fine or not. LOL

you know you are getting into photography when;

-You spend more time reading photo forums at work than working.
- Your other half does some home baking and you spend 45 minutes photographing it in your kitchen and don't even have a slice
-You get out of bed and check your istock profile for any sales before you go pee
-Your thinking about spending over £1000 on a distance learning course because no local college has evening classes you can make to

...and finally
-You daydream about the day you buy your 50 megapixel Hassleblad H3DII-50 and hand in your notice to the boss on the way back from the camera shop
