LMAO!!! Too funny! I'm a Canon gal but might just be convinced to switch if someone offered me a D700!

Oh, the camera all the way. I buy the cheap Walmart $15 watches and get a few years out of them each time. My watches get beat up from the daily wear and tear. I wouldn't want a fancy watch when I already want a nicer DSLR!

I'd say go for the camera. I know it's all a personal preference, but a wrist watch gets in my way. I go for the kind the clips on a belt loop. Except for the very rare occasion whent eh watch gets snagged on something, it's like the watch doesn't exist until you wonder what time it is.

Hey, the 5DmkII tells the time as well as taking pictures!

Although a good watch will last you a lifetime. A good camera will only last 100,000 actuations and will probably be obsolete before you get to that point. A watch doesn't need $2000 lenses to get the best out of it either!

I would get the camera. I have a Timex store near me, and I can get Timex watches at a good price.

Camera!!! My mobile phone has a perfectly good clock on it, and I don't like bling. I do, however like expensive camera equipment...
