Smile Flickr pro account question

When they say unlimited uploads, does this mean i can upload 200GB of photos?

I just bought a flickr pro account, because of the limit restrictions. I have 4GB cards, i fill each time i do a photo shoot. Does this mean each time I am done, I can upload hundreds of Gigabits of photos to my account?

If you're just looking for a place to back up photos, especially things like your raw files, check out a service like mediafire.com. That will give you all the storage you need without clogging up you photostream. You can use flickr as a place to dump images but it's really geared more towards image sharing.

Horses for courses.

Or you can set everything to private and just share what's good.

i have a question

IF ones hard drive failed... and you wanted to re-download them all (dozens of Gb worth of images)

is it possible to do it in bulk?

AND
does flickr compress them at all.. will they be exactly the same as whern they were uploaded (like an FTP) ?

Yeah, but I still have to look at all the unnecessary crap. I like a tidy photostream.

True, but it's something I know I could deal with.
