Now whatever you do, don't enable your flickr stats. It's like crack.

I haven't taken the plunge into pro yet - what are the stats? what do get from them? are they as addictive as this website?

I was also wondering what happens when your Flickr account is up for renewal, is it roughly the same price each year and what happens to all your images should you not wish to continue with it?

Questions, questions, question!!!!

Flickr stats keep track of the traffic on your photostream. You know how when you click on a photo and it says "This photo has been viewed X times". Well the stats will tell you where those X views cames from (most of the time). Wether they came from a group pool that you submitted your photo to or from an outside blog. There's also some info on how much of your stuff is tagged, geotagged, in groups, etc. In other words, lot's of info. Heaven for data freaks.

I ended up caving after two months. I got lured into Flickr by one of my friends who loves it. By my second month I hit 20% of my upload limit on day 4. Needless to say I sprang for the upgrade.
