I think we as photographers go through stages in our pursuit of this great art.
There will be stages when we would want to shoot anything and everything upon laying hands on this magic wand(camera),but once you have taken enough of bad ones we settle down and approach this art in a matured way. Personally speaking.photography is essentially an extension of the appreciation of the beauty and interesting things around me.And the core source of my motivation is my appreciation of that interestingness and my thirst to share that interestingness to the people around me....... So over a period of time i have reduced my clicks to a great extent and have learnt to sit back and appreciate the fine things before trying to capture it in camera.Iam sure quite a few of you would identify with me...But people are different and there will be a whole range of people in the various stages of this cycle,just like everything else. End of the day,people do what they want to do.As long as it keeps them happy,they can click away with all their energy and choose when to smell the roses ![]() |
