I have Photoshop CS2, I am still in the beginning stages of learning this powerful program.
I have downloaded and bookmarked 100s of tutorials and such. My question is; The differences between CS2 and CS4, do they make it worthwhile to get CS4 or should I continue to learn CS2? It's almost like any software program folks like, continuous upgrading. |

since you're just learning...
I would say stay with CS2. I am also cs2 user and must say that everything I need is still there. so why upgrade and spend money?

Look for reviews of CS4. They will show you what has been added and you can make a better informed choice.

R. Stone, I have done that. That's one of the resons I ask others who may have or are using CS4. Is it that big a difference or as an amateur photgrapher, I should be fine with CS2.
I don't plan on selling any photos, at least not in the forseeable future. |

Then I would stick with CS2 until you find a reason to upgrade. Perhaps at sometime you'll feel you need more. And when you do, you'll be a pro because they have the same format and you'll be able to dive right into it.
But if you have money burning a hole in your pocket.................. ; )
