Default Well I am dissapointed :(
I got my new 70-300mm today in the mail that I won on Ebay and I thought cool, MOON SHOTS tonight!!!! And to my dismay I walk outside just now looking for the moon and all I see are CLOUDS everywhere.
Go figure

Doesn't that just figure! Darnit, Murphy and his dang laws! It's like waking up first thing on Christmas morning, and being told you have to wait until everybody else wakes up to open your presents.

Hope it shines bright for you soon. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

You lucky... You got a 70-300... When I saw the title of this thread I immediately tought that you lost in that Sony competition..

LOL No the competition winner will be announced Monday sometime. I got my Sigma 70-300mm Off of Ebay for $40.00 LOL It's kind of old but the pictures it takes are wonderful and the autofocus is a little wacky but hey for $40 I cannot complain.

Hm, sounds like a good deal. I would also risk 40$ for a lens like that.
