Default flikr vs Picasa vs ????

Hi, being very new in the business of using these sites, I was wondering what type of site is the best to post your photos?

I am currently using Picasa, but that is because I use Picasa to manage my photos.

Maybe you had this discussing already, but I am keen to try out alternatives.

So far the learning experience on DPS has been far more than expected.

Thanks to the guys taking there time to answer and give your opinion!

Cheers

I like flickr. I find the resizing that picasa does to the images sometimes causes them to look really bad.

Flickr is the best at maintaing the quality of the image after uploading.

The unlimited part of Flickr pro is very usefull. I've not used picassa but from memory there is no unlimited option.

I use my photobucket account as a dumping ground for pictures for family out of the area (I.E. Hubby being silly and the cat).

I use my flickr account to host my "nice" photos. I also like the groups feature.

flickr is the best. picassa does not have unlimited and gets really expensive fast if u use a lot of disk space. but i do lament the fact that flickr is kind of inflexible in its management. like u can't rearrange ur own photostream unless u delete stuff and reupload them which is really kind of annoying.

I've used Fotothing for about 7 yrs. now But it doesn't seem to be compatible with DPS. So I started a flickr pro acct. Works very easily with DPS and I've found some groups I enjoy participating with. I have also used Photobucket, but discovered they felt they had the right to your images. That may have changed since then.
