Default photosharing sites

Hi,
What photosharing sites do people use?
Why do you like or dislike the one you use?
Why did you choose it over other sites?

any other pros/cons to the various photosharing sites?

What do I need to know to choose a sharing site?

I am newish to photography - I do have a smugmug site. I am an amateur, but would like to sell some stock photos eventually... perhaps do some people and pet portraits eventually as well. mostly just shoot for myself and to share with my friends.

Thanks!
Erin

I use Flickr & find it enough for my needs. Imageshack is also used sometimes but its mostly for demonstrating my work on forums for critique.

I use Flickr for some of my better images and Webshots for more of a snapshot kind of images, for example snapshots of places I've been to. etc. I think that Flickr is much more photographer-orientated, faster and more practical, although Webshots has a vast archive of images too..
