hey everyone i am new to the forum & digital photography, although i have some experience with film. I recently got a Rebel XS along with the kit lense, Canon 80-200mm lense,2GB SD card & a nice icon camera bag.
I like shooting landscapes, and i guess whateva grabs my fancy(macros +people) I figure the next thing i will need is a few filters. what else should i have have as an essential in my kit? I would appreciate any help or direction as it relates to the right flash or other essentials that i should have. |

welcome
![]() a good tripod is on the top of the list for landscapes.. which you have i see.. other than that a wide angle lens of some description. Photomatix(HDR) or photoshop will be a big leg-up to the next level. other than that.. experience and mistakes will help you figure out what you need.

Hey what happened to Max's post? Was it deleted? LOL if it was.
Anyways you should get batteries. can never have enough... Nothing worse than a battery dieing on you when you are in the middle of no where taking pictures.
