Default How can I copy and paste exif data?

Anyone know a quick effective way of copying the full exif details from a photo's "properties" so that it can be pasted into a word document or a post on DPS?

Can't seem to find any method of copying & pasting from the properties window. (Other than by doing a "print screen" etc. etc.) - but that just copies as a picture with no means of highlighting individual sections of the data etc.

I've tried from within Phtoplus X3, Lightroom and PS CS2 (highlighting the text & right clicking is not an option).

Any suggestions appreciated.

left click and drag your mouse over the area that you want to copy. Click on alt c to copy and then alt v to paste in the area you want to paste it in

I do link from Flickr but in the additional info section there's no 'more information' option which I have seen on other Flickr pages.

Tried that approach but the left-click and drag doesn't highlight any text. In Lightroom all the info I want is clearly visible on the right but I can't seem to copy it at all.
I must be making a basic error somewhere along the line...

Hmm, try this, first, you need to set on your flickr account to "show your exif data", prob you hidden it.(check it, prob select to no, change to yes)

2) check that when you upload photos, from your PC to flickr, make sure the EXIF data are uploaded as well, this depends on your software setting.

Checked Flickr account options and 'show exif data' is already selected, so I guess I'm stripping the info before it gets there.

Forgot to say, I import all photos via Adobe Lightroom 4.2 and have now posed the same question on their help forum. If I (hopefully) get the issue resolved I'll post the answer here for others with a similar problem.

When you go to save a shot after PP, do not use "Save for web". This will strip EXIF to conserve size. You would want to use the "Save As" option.
