Default posting photos

When posting photos in threads how do you get the picture in the post not just a thumbnail? do you have to have it on a website?

upload it on photobucket.com or similar one. and use the img tag [img] image url here [/img]

I highly recommend Flickr (you can find a visual guide to posting from Flickr in the FAQs). The reason I recommend Flickr over photobucket is that it is much easier to post an image that conforms with the sites rules from Flickr (using Medium size images).

You could also use Deviantart. The text that says "embed" on the right side of the picture can be used to post pictures. Just copy and paste it, and it will also conform with the rules set here for the 800 pixels on the longest side.

When you enter a new message or reply, you will see a "paper clip" icon just above the text area.

Click on it and follow the prompts. Dont worry about the about the flickrs and photobucket stuff
