Default Best/Worst Shoot?

What is your favorite and best shoot, and your most loathed and disliked shoot?

I don't necessarily mean the quality of the photos that came out of it, but the shooting environment and conditions themselves.

I was inspired to start this thread because I took my dog for a walk this evening during the sunset and found a great shot of a backlit sunflower covered in colorful insects. Unfortunately, it was fortified by a veritable star fort of cacti and yucca plants, and all I had were shorts. I carefully treaded around the cacti and crouched down to get a shot, getting slight prickles here and there. I finally focused, and my dog did a quick shiver, vibrating the whole body of the camera through the leash. I tried again and as soon as I got a shot, the dog decided a nearby thistle was a better subject, dragging me into a cactus.

Most of my more entertaining shoots were walking around Osaka, Japan with a camera, a couple onigiri, a backpack, and some water. Just walk for hours, taking shots, stopping at random parks, getting lost, and eventually finding a train station to get home.

What are yours?

Worst shoot ever... Trying to capture a meteor shower.. out in the middle of nowhere with three tripods and three cameras setup. sat out there for about 5 hours getting eaten alive by mosquitos and didn't even get a single good shot of a meteor. That sucked bad. Oh yeah and a cop came by and asked what I was doing.... I just pointed at the cameras and tripods... I think he was looking for a good place to go to sleep.

Favortie shoot.... I dunno I have had some fun shoots with a couple different models. but if I had to say one.. I guess it would be my most recent shoot with Ally. Not only is she incredibly beautiful she is just a really cool person and a lot of fun to hang out with.
