Default Browser Back Arrow

I used to be able to navigate back from a post with one simple click on my browser's back arrow...now it takes 2, 3, and sometimes 4 clicks to go back. Anyone else experiencing this...it's doing it on both my computers?? Before I dig deeper into my settings I wanted to check with you folks...thanks

Vinnie

Same problem here, with my PC that uses IE (IE 7, I think). No problem, though, on my Mac that's running Safari.

It is a problem only encountered on IE, from what I have seen on here and experience myself.

Thanks Scott, but it never did it before, and I've changed nothing on my computers which makes me wonder if DPS did something???

Others, including myself, have been having the same issue. There's been discussion about it in this thread, also:

Me too. In the meantime, I've been clicking on the history arrow. Next to the back arrow? And scroll down to prev. page. A pain, but better than clicking the back arrow 3-4 times.

Yes. I've found that to be the best solution. I plan on going to a Mac by the end of the year. I've about had it with PC's and Vista. I've had 2 Macs in the past and they were both trouble free.

I have no problem. I believe I have IE 6, running it on Windows XP.

That's a big problem right there! :P

I haven't had any problems with Firefox regarding back button.

Have you guys tried hitting the backspace if that takes couple tries too or if it works in one go? ....just tried on IE8 and it does that too. The actual button, backspace and "back" from context menu all do that.

Searched google a bit and ran into this post on some random forum:
"...the problem (feature) is caused by your popup-blocker (Google toolbar).
Some sites try to show an ad popup when you enter or leave a web page. "
Maybe that's the culprit? IE has some popup blocker right?
