hi!
![]() i am about to (would like to) purchase my first dslr camera and i'm female and not very good with gadgets, infact i know very little about them and operating, but i think i can learn. the reason i think i would like to move to dslr is because i want to take quick photos, sequence photos (skateboard/snowboard) and also to do some focus/out of focus stuff... can anybody possibly recommend a userfriendly dslr for me that will meet my needs? your words are much appreciated

Or gains in value... in some cases.
But yeah find the camera that is most comfortable in your hands and the button layout makes sense to you and the menus etc. Get that one....

From the other side of the tracks, there are many who also like the Nikon D40. It too is a entry level dslr. Those two (Rebel xsi) would be the ones you'd like to compare.
Stay tuned for the Pentax & Oly users!
