I've reported spam with the red box before and a mod was straight on it. Probably depends who is online.

Reporting a post (look for the box near the top right of each post) is the best option - it sends out an email to all moderators so we can come running even if none of us were on the site at the time. There have been one or two things that most people probably don't want to see and other posts with numerous links, any of which could lead to infectious sites, so we're grateful for your help in keeping on top of things.

yeah I have always used the report post box when something needed the attention of a mod. Sometimes it may take a day or so but no biggie I understand that people have other things to do as well... The mods here really do a good job of running this place.
