Default Nikon D90 Deal

HI,

I am looking forward for my first D-SLR.
After a lot of research, I finally made my mind with the Nikon D90 because it is more suited for portrait shooting than Canon.

I found good deals for the Nikon D90 on Ebay along with couple of Lenses and Gear. I need your opinion if I should for such deals or should I build it myself"

Appreciate your advice

The "wide angle" and "telephoto" lens adapters are junk. You really don't want them. I had a couple for my P&S, and they fit on my DSLR lenses and they don't really work.

I would steer clear of any of the Ebay packages. Most of the accessories will be junk and shouldn't even be considered in determine the value of the deal. The first package linked above doesn't include a manufacturer's warranty, so it's likely to be gray market. The second says it comes with a manufacturers warranty, but those warranties have to be accompanied by a reciept from an authorized dealer. If they aren't an authorized dealer, then no warranty. If you want to buy new then I would stick with one of the established Camera sellers.

most of the stuff there seems a bit lousy,no offense. If you want value for money, get a D60,D40 and get a high grade lens or two. This should come around to 1000 or less. Quality beats everything else. Hope i helped. Ps. don't trust the free tripods too much if you choose the D90 package, seems flimsy.

Hi !

I know that E-bay does seem to have some great deals but I have been doing some research into these packages now as I am also in the market for a DSLR I would say if you are going to get anything from there stick to DIGITAL REV no one else will match them for quality but you pay a price that high street dealers can also match if you shop around if you are UK based then look into some of the Magazine ads at the back there are some brilliant deals .... only problem I now have is too much choice !

Default Yes you are right

Yes, I do agree 100%. That why I thought, I never like package deals and shouldn't have considered them in first place.

thanks a million.

regards.
