Default My vacation packing list

Going to Cincinnati in August. My wife laughed when she read my list I just printed out.

Pelican Case which holds all my bodies, and glass
Lowepro bag for triggers, batteries, and other gadgets
Great multitudes of AA batteries for my speedlight
Camera battery charger [2]
One light stand
One 60" umbrella
Tripod
Lap Top and charger
380 auto
45 auto
Ammo cans packed with ammo
Cell phone with house, and car charger.
Debit Card
Cash
Drugs....prescription

I wish I had a PB Vagabond power supply, then I'd take all my lighting gear.

We'll be driving, so no worries about the non photo stuff.

I've got 7 shoots scheduled while I'm there. I figure probably 4 will flake on me thou.

I'm still a member of the gun club there, so I'm planning on getting some other shooting done too.

My wife did ask me if I thought about a change of cloths, I told her that was her department.

I'd have slapped my hubby if he said that! LOL

HEY!!!!!

I mow the grass, and take out the garbage. Even empty the dishwasher now, and then.

My wife is packing for our holiday now.

For her, me and our three sons - we won't know what shirts we'll be wearing until we unpack!

It's not that we don't care, she's just better at it! To make it up, we'll carry all the luggage - which isn't much as we are flying Ryanair and only allowed two 15kg suitcases and hand luggage!

In all the years I was married, I NEVER packed for my husband. And I always had my boys gather their own things (of course I made sure they had enough clothing). Can't believe anyone still thinks there is woman's work and man's work in a household.

Oh dear, I didn't mean to imply it was woman's work - far from it. We share the chores in this house. In fact, whilst she was packing, I was hovering and dusting! It's just that I get in the way and after 22 years of married life we work well together as a team.

Seven shootings? Looking at your packing list are those a mix of photographic and hunting? ;-)

Ask my wife who's job it is to kill the massive spiders that get in our house sometimes, or to remove the snakes from the garage when one decides to stop in for a visit.

Come to think of it, in the 28 years we've been married, I cant think of a single time she has changed the oil or transmission fluid in any of our cars, done a tune up, or a brake job. Never changed a water pump, power steering pump, fuel pump, or any other thing on the cars except put gas in them.

Cant remember her ever replacing an electrical outlet, heating element in the furnace, changing out a hot water heater, switching out a mother board or power supply on any of our PC's, or putting a new roof on our house.

Yep, I guess were a weird twisted couple, but we do have things that one does, and not the other.

Nope I put out a casting call on MM. Had seven models want to shoot, but like I said before I'm thinking at least 4 will flake.
