I am trying to learn the manual settings on my Rebel Xsi, so I decided to take some pictures of my daughter this morning. However, when I went to upload them onto my computer, they weren't showing up as being on my memory card. Could this be because I shot them in RAW as opposed to JPEG? If so, what can I do to get them to show up? If that's not the problem, any ideas of what's causing it to happen?
Thanks! Melissa |

Did you load the software that came with your camera? If you connect the camera to your computer can you double click on "My Computer" and does your camera show up as an attached device?
A RAW file on your memory card should show up as a file but you will need to have an additional program installed to be able to work with and/or see the images. Hope that helps.

Yep - that fixed it. I guess I was so eager to just start taking pictures that I didn't bother making sure everything was set up properly. I just finished installing the software, and now they are showing up and I am able to edit them! Thanks Trader!
