Default Anyone have the new sigma 10-20mm??

I just ordered it. I can't find any information on it yet. I hope it is what i'm expecting.

They changed it from 3 sld(special low dispersion) elements to 2 eld(extra low dispersion ) elements and 1 sld element. It went from 6 blade diaphragm to 7, and has a fixed aperature of 3.5. They also changed it from 77mm to 82mm. I'm thinking this one is going to be a kick azz lens.

Anyone have one, or read anything about it ???

Default Old one

I own the old one and it's my go-to lens when shooting landscape. Let me know what you think of this new model, sounds like an upgrade to me!
Here's one taken with my Sigma 10-20 a few weeks back.

Very nice. I've seen alot of images from the older version and they look good. If this new version is anything like the new 50mm prime, it will be sharp as a tack. I guess i'll find out thurs. when it comes in. I'll post some picks when i get it.
