Can't download pictures from camera

After a few weeks of no problems whatsoever with downloading pictures to my PC using Zoombrowser suddenly I cannot.
I get a message that "there are no images in the camera or memory card that match download conditions"
USB connection looks fine, have rechecked my settings for memory card and mass storage. Havre tried to download to another drive. Nothing.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Turn your camera on and see if you can still view them on the camera?

access the camera outside of the software (ie my computer -> then the drive its assigned) and look for the images that way

finally you could try using a card reader to eliminate possible problems with the camera

get a card reader and some editing software it's much faster. The raw convertor software that comes with most cameras are crapo. You don't have to tether camera to computer and down load.

Ive never understood using software to download photos from a camera unless it's somehow necessary. And if it is, that UX designer needs to be shot.

i use lightroom to download my photos as it sorts them and adds them to the library quickly and easily

Yes... a card reader is vital, really...
