Default An old portrait with a terrible colorcast!

I came across an old portrait I had done of my son many years ago, I would say about 1980, and as you can see it has faded and developed a terrible red/orange colorcast to it. I tried to adjust the color myself in cs4 but it didn't work out too good.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I would appreciate any ideas and suggestions......thanks, Dan

Dan, Came up with a "quickie" fix just using levels in Photoshop
1)Used the whites eyed dropper (right one) on a part of the image that should be white
2)Used the middle eye dropper on what should be neutral/mid tone
3)and lastly used the left side eye dropper on what should be black in the image

It's not perfect, but if you play around with it you can make it a heck of lot better

Also makes a decent B/W

Vinnie

That does look alot better. I was thinking about maybe just selecting different areas to work on ,one at a time too. The grayscale version is also a good choice.....thanks, Dan
