I have just posted a picture on Flickr, funnily enough it is my mistake picture to the next assignment (I had left the camera on b&w setting whilst shooting a windmill and didn't notice until I got home!) and have had someone post this:
Hi, I'm an admin for a group called *absolutely beautiful-absolutamente bello*post 1 comment1, and we'd love to have this added to the group! What does this mean? Should I let them add my picture to their group? is it just a kudos thing or do these groups use these pictures for a commercial basis? Basically - should I accept?

It seems someone liked your photo.
You can join the group if you want to. It is just another way to share your pictures on Flickr. There is no sinister or commercial aspect to the groups on flickr - well there shouldn't be. There are tons of groups on flickr. It seems they have one for every interest out there. It's a great way to make new friends that share your interest. It does seem that there is a stipulation to joining this particular group. "post one, comment one" if you post a picture to the group they would like you to comment on someone else's picture that is in the group. Hope this wasn't to much rambling. : )

Why not go to the groups section and search for something that interest's you? As stated above, there are thousands of groups. Maybe an Essex group, 50mm, nikon, cars, B&W and on and on.....
It's a good way to meet people and you get more comments to learn from. Try it out.
