Lightbulb X is for Xiphoid

A xiphos was a type of ancient Greek double-edged sword used by the hoplite armies. Xiphoid comes from xiphoeides which is a compound word of xiphos (sword) and eides (shape or a form). Thus, Xiphoid is a sword shape. This is a hand-and-a-half sword that I own. Not a true xiphos, but it is a xiphoid.

I am amazed by all the creativity, although I've been here on this forum long enough to know I shouldn't be surprised.
