Default Image recovery on a flash card

So personally having gone through the experience of loosing photo's on my camera card, and coming across an article on what to do about it, I thought I would share with all the fine people here at DPS.

How to Recover Deleted Pictures from a Digicam Memory Card

I haven't tried it yet (and hopefully I don't have to). And I've no affiliation with the people of the site. Would love to hear back from people who do use it, should they have to.

Or does anyone else have some suggestions on how to help in this situation?

I have used one similar program, and it works. But again, I suppose that it depends on what happened to your memory card. These programs can save files if the file system has been damaged, or in case of some other software error, but probably not if the card has been physically damaged. You can even recover stuff that you permanently deleted from your hard drive, or even after formating a hard drive or a memory card.

I use photorescue wizard, but there are many other image rescue programs out there.
