Unless you have some type of EXIF editor, you would need to remove it using EOS Utilities so that it is not part of your EXIF when the picture is taken.

You can try EXIFTOOL (ExifTool by Phil Harvey).

For example, to remove 'User Comment' from all jpeg files:

exiftool "-UserComment=" *.jpg

Substitute "-UserComment=" with the appropriate tag (without blanks).

why do you want to remove it??
sounds a bit silly.. its there to protect you.

if you dont want people to see your real name just go into flickr settings (search) and you can choose to hide the properties from the viewers.
then they cant see any of the exif... saves allot of time, better than removing your name for each image you upload. if someone is THAT interested in your exif they can ask.

Thanks for your help. I enjoyed your Flickr pictures. My Grand Daughter is one.

I had never seen that before. I looked at yours and see it but don't see it in mine. Is that on yours because of PS or your cannon utilities?

In his case, it would be there because of the Canon utilities disk or even possibly as a result of updating with something like Lightroom. I personally don't know how it is done with other camera brands.
