I have a very good lens with my Canon 50D and I do have photoshop. To all my photos, I always adjust the color, brightness and contrast..should I be doing more

+1 on better glass. Those are consumer lenses you've got in your sig. Try a prime, or something with a USM or a L in its name. Also, stopping down to f/8 can work wonders.

And you should be using Curves adjustments, not brightness/contrast. Learning how to sharpen is another good basic post-processing skill.

75-300mm, 18-55mm & 25-240mm those are kit lenses geared for the consumers and not the best quality. I mean they'll do under sunlight conditions, but low level light conditions.......no way

What lens do you have? From your list it doesn't look like you have "L" glass.

Somehow I knew what you were thinking. We'll probably get blasted for trashing those cheap lenses, but WTF, won't be the first time I've hurt feeling here

That's exactly what they are... cheap. Hell, i have a few cheapies that I love to throw on and be all willy-nilly about.... but, if you really need/want sharp photos you need good lenses.... and $500 is NOT going to get you a good lens... i'm sorry, it's just not. I had to learn that the hard way.

Oh, and about hurting feelings... bah, i do it all day long at work and I don't feel one once of guilt about it. Sometimes, it's necessary.
