Default Has anyone gotten the Canon Starter kit from B&H?

Hi, wondering if anyone has gotten the Canon Starter kit from B&H?

I needed to get another extra battery (which is $50), and they have a "starter kit" which is out of stock right now for $70 that includes a bag (already have one, but who knows maybe I'll like this one better or get some use out of an extra), a battery, and a UV-1 Haze filter which I've really been needing.

Just thought I'd check on here and make sure before I got it, if anyone was really unhappy with it or anything.
Thanks!
Sarah

By the sounds of things, I don't think you really need it. You already have another bag, that filter sounds cheap and will probably degrade your image quality; but it's only $20 more so if you feel like you need it, go for it. In my opinion, I'd just pocket that money -- maybe put it toward a nifty fifty.

If you are only interested in a battery, try Sterlingtek. I have purchased Canon compatible batteries from them and have never had any trouble. I charge them in my Canon battery charger, too. Definitely cheaper.
