I voted Natural Light because, for the time being, I have no OFF camera flash. And I agree with you to say that such device can make all the difference. With the integrated flash, though, it only makes a flat, harsh and dull light, even in rear-curtain synchro.

I used to work with a swivel-head flash on a SLR I used to borrow long ago. Only using light bouncing on walls or ceiling made a great great difference.
Now I only crave to save enough to buy a SB something, then two, and start having fun with them.
