Websites and new looks....

cdgaskin has posted here about sites I just wanted to know what you guys think of the work we did on it ?

We just finished it now. Comments appreciated as I am on a learning curve with web design so offered to help him out ...

The design is pretty nice. A few things though:

- I would make the menu options (Portfolio, About Me, etc.) more obvious. I didn't see them immdiately.
- "About Me" leads to a page written in the 3rd person ("Christopher has...") -- I'd stick with one or the other.
- Similarly, "About me" is nonetheless written kind of informally. Again, this is a choice, but I'd make a decision about what you really want to say. Is it important to say that you're not a member of any professional organizations? I'd just not say that at all.

Overall, though, nice.

I liked the site. Simple, slick, easy to navigate.

I think you should put a mailing address on your contact page.

"Powered by Freewebs" badge is not a good thing. Hosting these days doesn't cost much so get yourself one.

Half of the footer is not visible. There's some black bar on top of it.

I like the site: very clean, easy to navigate. I agree about the personal information comment above, make it first person. I don't agree about providing an address. You already give email and telephone information. That should be sufficient. If you had a studio as your place of business that would be different. But you don't want advertise your home address to tell thieves where they can burgle expensive camera gear.

hopefully we got it now
