Default Where to get photos developed online (or off)

I am new to photography. I recently bought a Nikon D90 to take pictures of my new baby girl.

I remember hearing in the past that who I choose to make prints for me makes a big difference.

Is that true? Can anyone recommend a good place to get prints made. I would also like to get some blown up.

I am more interested in quality than price.

Thanks,

Millers, WHCC, MPIX, myPhotopipe and several other online labs do just fine. There are a bunch more that can be found with a simple search of the forum, but I don't recall their names at the moment.

I use Meridian.com. They will do lab corrected 8 x 10 prints for $1.39 each. FedEx ground shipping is $5.95. I have been doing business with them for almost a couple of years now and I am very satisfied with them.

I use Adorama.com. They offer many, many sizes and several finishes. Fast and excellent work.

All labs previously mentioned have great reputations. Myself, I use Mpix, and their quality and consistency have been outstanding. And, the prices and service are top-notch, also.

I've also used Mpix a few times and I must say they are good, and FAST delivery!

Default Adorama and Mpix

I've used both, both are good -- no doubt -- if you think you might want to get some photo novelties (mugs, mousepads, etc) Mpix has those. I don't think Adorama offers that at all (but they do still have some Kodak Endura Silk... hard to find these days).

Default Wow. And Thanks

I had not expected so many responses so fast. Thanks to all of you.

I have a couple of pictures I would like to have done. I am going to pick one and send it to a few of the mentioned names and see who I like best.

Thanks so much for all your advice and your quick response.
